Prachaksinlapakhom Lake
Located in Nong Prachak Park, this is a vast stretch of water on the western edge of the city. The lake was formally called " Nong Na Kluea" but was later renamed in memory of Prince Prachaksinlapakhom in 1987, In honor of His majesty the King Bhumibol's 60th birthday the city improved the park by adding colourful decorations and flowering plans in addition to bridges connecting the isles, fountains, a clock tower, and a playground. These changes have added a pleasant atmosphere to the lake and the park has quickly become a favorite area for locals to go jogging, have picnics, or meet and socialize.
